TUBS: Technische Universitat Braunschweig (TUBS) from Germany, with its Institute of Flight Guidance (IFF) has a well acknowledged expertise in Air Traffic Management processes. The IFF, led by Prof. Peter Hecker, has participated in many different projects on national and European level, where different enabling technologies (satellite navigation, novel cockpit displays for taxi guidance or wake vortex awareness, air traffic controller working positions, airport optimization tools, etc.) have been developed. Relevant for AGENT are especially the national LuFo4-project “KoKo” which was dedicated to lateral collision avoidance algorithms supported by TCAS and complementary on-board sensors and the participation in validation exercises in FP6 project ANASTASIA, as well as in FP7 projects ALICIA and ACROSS.
